My name is Angel Larkman; I am a proud member of Matachewan First Nation and a licensed Ontario lawyer with 20 years of experience working in various capacities in the legal industry.
My work has included coordinating and leading the creation of an Indigenous human rights clinic in Ottawa. My law practice now serves clients Ontario-wide.
About Niigaan Miikaans
I founded Niigaan Miikaans Law to provide legal support focused on real solutions that respect and honour every individual’s path forward.
My approach is rooted in the values of the Medicine Wheel.
My practice is intentionally structured to avoid courtroom battles, except in child protection matters, where I firmly believe in supporting families and preventing the separation of children from their families and communities inside and out of the courtroom. Where possible, I encourage alternative dispute resolution processes, including “Talking Together Circles”.
